How much does restaurant billing software cost in India?
You pay for four things: the software, a printer, the cloud that keeps your bills, and someone to call when something goes wrong. Sellers charge for them in three ways: monthly for each device, once a year, or once for good. This page explains each and the questions to ask before you pay.

Is there free restaurant billing software?
Free billing apps exist. Before you choose one, check what it leaves out: printing on a thermal printer, billing with no internet, GST invoices and GSTR-1, several phones, and someone to call when the counter stops. mezBill is paid, and every plan has all of these, with a 7-day free trial.
Why does the printer come with the plan?
A bill has to come out of a printer, so every plan includes one 58 mm Bluetooth thermal printer with a 1-year warranty. The shop can bill and print from the first day without buying hardware separately. It is charged once, ₹2,500 inside the first payment; renewals are software only.
What does mezBill cost per month?
There is no monthly plan. The 1-year plan is ₹5,999 for the first year with the printer, which works out to about ₹500 a month, and then ₹3,499 a year to renew.
Do prices include GST?
Yes. The prices shown are what you pay, GST included.
Is a lifetime licence worth it?
No renewal fee ever. Hosting and support included as long as mezBill operates. One printer included. At ₹24,999 once, it costs less than renewing the 1-year plan from the 7th year and the 3-year plan from the 10th year. It suits a shop that expects to bill for many years.
