A kitchen order ticket (KOT) tells the kitchen what to cook. mezBill prints each dish at the station that cooks it and never reprints what the kitchen has already seen.

What is a KOT?
A kitchen order ticket: the slip that tells the kitchen which dishes to cook for which table. It is not the customer's bill and has no prices.
Which printer do I need in the kitchen?
An 80 mm thermal printer on the shop Wi-Fi or LAN is the usual choice, because every phone can reach it. Most printers that speak ESC/POS work; send us the model number and we will confirm.
Which plan has KOT by station?
Standard and Pro. Standard is ₹999 a month including GST for one outlet and five phones.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Each phone keeps the menu and its own bill series, so you can bill and print with no signal. Bills, payments and KOTs go up to the cloud when the phone is online again.
I use another billing app. Can I move my menu?
Yes. Export your items and customers to Excel from your old app and import them. Numbers, prices and categories come across.
